Bangalore sits at about 900 metres above sea level with a warm climate year-round. Srinagar sits at 1,585 metres and Kashmir\'s mountains go up to 2,700+ metres for places like Gulmarg. The temperature difference is significant even in summer. Here is what a Bangalore traveller specifically needs to account for.
