The Gulmarg Gondola — Your Key to Everything

1Phase 1 — 2,650m to 3,980m

The main lift. Offers access to intermediate and beginner slopes. Views of the Pir Panjal range. Queue early (9 AM) in peak season. Ticket: ₹900/person.

2Phase 2 — 3,980m to 4,267m

The world-class terrain. Views of Nanga Parbat (8,126m). Off-piste powder in the bowl below. Only for intermediate-advanced skiers. Ticket: ₹500 extra.

3Booking Tickets

Book online at gulmarg.nic.in — 2–3 days in advance in peak season (Dec–Jan, July–Aug). Trivilio guests get pre-booked gondola tickets as part of packages.

🟢 Beginner Runs
Gondola Phase 1 Lower

Gentle slopes near the gondola base. Ski school available. Perfect for absolute beginners. Equipment hire: ₹500/day (skis + boots + poles).

🔵 Intermediate
Phase 1 Mid-Mountain

Consistent gradient, well-pisted runs. Most recreational skiers spend their days here. 8–10 km of good intermediate terrain.

⚫ Advanced
Phase 2 Off-Piste

Steep, ungroomed bowl below Phase 2. Knee-deep powder on good days. No crowd, extraordinary views. Guide recommended.

🎿 Heli-Skiing
Remote peaks

For expert skiers only. Helicopter access to untouched Himalayan terrain. Organised by specialist operators — Trivilio can arrange introductions.

Ski Hire & Lessons

1Equipment Hire

Skis + boots + poles: ₹500–₹800/day. Snowboard + boots: ₹600–₹900/day. Helmet and goggles: ₹200–₹400/day. Available at the gondola base and multiple shops in Gulmarg town.

2Ski Lessons

Group lessons (2 hrs): ₹800–₹1,200. Private lesson (1 hr): ₹1,500–₹2,500. JKAS (J&K Academy of Skiing) instructors are certified. Book through your hotel or Trivilio.

3Ski Pass

No daily ski pass required beyond gondola tickets in Gulmarg. You pay per gondola ride — convenient for those who ski just a few runs a day.
