Where Switzerland Wins
Switzerland's infrastructure is more developed — trains run on time to the second, ski lifts cover more terrain, and the mountain restaurants are consistently excellent. If total predictability and luxury infrastructure are your priorities, Switzerland delivers.
The Alps are genuinely spectacular, particularly around Zermatt, Grindelwald and St Moritz. The cheese and chocolate are legitimately better. And Switzerland is safe in a way that requires no thought or preparation.
